The Athlete Angel program allows free and reduced lunch students enrolled in the Highline School Distric to participate in the race.

Sponsor a Student to Run

To sponsor one or more student(s) (need based - free or reduced lunch), simple click on the "GetMeRegistered" button on the left and select the "Athlete Angel" option.  $10 per student and you'll have the option to target your sponsorship toward a particular school if you'd like.

Angel Program Overview

Each $10 angel sponsorship, sponsors a full registration (timing chip, bib and shirt) for a free and reduced lunch student.

Angel sponsorships are awarded by school conselors based on need (and possibly other factors: enthusiam, training, etc)

What happens if there are more angels than students?

While we don't anticipate that situation, if we end up with more angels than students applying for a sponsorship, we will donate the extra funds will to the race's official charities.

How do students apply for an Angel sponsorship?

Free and reduced lunch students are encouraged to ask their school counselor about a sponsorship. Each school counselor (or other school designate) will be emailed codes that can be used to register for free.
