IMPORTANT

In order for a school to earn credit, registrants must enter your SCHOOL NAME in the "Registration Code" field when registering.  This applies to both the runners and Angel sponsors. Completed Registrations will not be updated for people who forgot or didn't know to enter the school name.  Getting the word out in your school is the essence of the contest.

Contest Rules

  • Each school in the Highline School District is eligible.
  • Private schools can enter the contest by emailing schools@covetoclover.com
  • Ranking is determined by number of school targeted registrants divided by a school's total enrollment as of Jan 1 of the race year.
  • Only online registrations qualify for credit for a school..
  • Both Angel sponsor registrations (1 credit per sponsored child) and runner registrations count.
  • Students registering as a sponsored athlete also count in the contest.
  • The school name must be entered in the Registration Code field at the time of registration. Race officials will not enter school names for registrants after the registration process is complete.
  • For each qualified registration, $5 will be donated to the Highline Schools Foundation - Fund for Excellence. (note: private schools will earn the $5 rebate directly)
  • Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three ranked school PTSAs (unless otherwise agreed to with a particular school) after the contest closes.
  • If the PTSA does not actively participate in the contest, Race officials have the right to donate the prize to another organization at the school or the school itself.
  • In no case, shall the the prize be awarded to an individual.
  • In the event of a tie, the tied schools will equally divide the prize money for which they tied as well as prize money for the next lower prize category, if there is one (in other words, if they did not tie for 3rd place).
  • Contest Closes at 11:59 pm on March 1
  • Though registrants can continue to enter a school name into the "Registration Code" field, they will not count in the contest.
  • Proceeds not donated to schools will go to the Highline Area Food Bank and other race charities
